2027 Genesis G80 Recalled Over Loss of Drive Power

In July 2026, Hyundai Motor America began recalling select 2027 Genesis G80 models over a potential loss of drive power.

The defect: the ignition coil ground bolt may be loose, resulting in an engine misfire or stall while driving.

The hazards: a misfire or loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
